Doc Gunter serves as Chief Technology Officer of Rival Downhole Tools. Doc founded Ashmin, LC and Workover Solutions in 2003 and has incorporated the company’s engineering solutions into Rival’s portfolio. He brings with him extensive experience and knowledge in engineering, development, manufacturing, and application of drilling and workover tools for the oil and gas industry. He has a B.S., M.S. and two Ph.D. degrees in Mining and Mechanical Engineering and Microelectronics, and holds more than 75 US and global patents.
